How To Do Makeup On Woc

The classic smokey eye never goes out of style and suits everyone. Then, sweep the brush in soft, broad strokes across your lid at the places where the different shades of eyeshadows meet. It also makes my eyeshadow last longer, and it doesn't smudge as much. Clean your eyeshadow brush with makeup brush cleaner, face wash, or shampoo and water.

Using a flat brush, apply nude shimmer eyeshadow. Gently apply a hint of brown eyeshadow in the crease and towards the outer corner of your eyes. You can blend this color upwards beyond your crease and into your highlighter if you want. Curl your lashes and apply two coats of mascara to finish.

When done properly the smokey eye is sexy and sophisticated, and with the option to create the look with different shades ranging from browns and golds to greys and blacks, you can wear the look for numerous occasions. Only use your darkest shadow till halfway up your eyelid.

Using a flat brush, smoothen the lines out evenly and blend the color from the center of your eye towards the outer corners. Choose a sparkly metallic finish for a night out or, for a more subdued daytime look, olive green matte eyeshadow is just stunning. Now, I'm going to move onto the shade called Buns, and with this color I am going to blend it into my crease as well, over the other colors.

Take a gunmetal gray color and apply it all along the crease of the eyes, blending as you go. Apply the same color to the outside of the lower lash line and brow bone to create a highlighted glow. Apply it to your upper lashes first, and then a quick coat to your bottom lashes.

Using a brown eyeshadow, work into the crease of your eye for a harsh contrast. Step 3: Blend a neutral, medium brown eyeshadow with a matte effect in the crease of your eyes (Fawn from ABH). The medium browns allow great variety with makeup, as all the colors mentioned above can be worn without hesitation.

Apply the light nude eyeshadow shades from The Blushed Nudes® Eye Shadow Palette on the lids. Use a metallic black shimmer eye shadow to dust over the eyelids, breaking the matte effect and leaving a glittering finish. Add definition to the lower waterline using a black eyeliner or kohl.

Brown used to mix eye shadows to get a custom shade; now her Brow Kits contain two hues for at-home color-matching. Using black eyeshadow, enhance the corner of the wing. This will help your eyes to pop, keeping them looking bright even with all the dark smudging above.

Next, using a dark green color, fill in the lower half of your eyelid. Smokey eyes are one of the most popular and trendy current makeup looks. Apply the deep cobalt color all over the eyelid but stop right underneath the crease. If you want more of a warm, brown smokey eyes, which would look incredible on those with lighter eyes such as blues and greens, then opt for warm, rustier shades of browns which are red or orange based.

Use a thin brush to fill in the color towards the outer corners, the lower lashline and to evenly blend the product out. Do a subtle eye makeup for brown eyes using lighter shades of brown, taupes, camel, vanilla or peach makeup for WOC or intensify the look with stronger tones of chocolate, plum, purple, navy or metallic tones of gold, cooper and bronze.

Next up, line your lower lash line with black eyeliner and then smudge it ever so slightly to achieve a smoky effect. Using a flat brush, cover your eyelid with the nude eyeshadow as a base and so your rose gold pops out. I made my brush wet before dipping it into the shadow, to give the color extra intensity as I was applying it. Im using this color over my lid, and under the crease, but blending upward into the crease so the colors blend together naturally.

You can hold the brush toward the end, instead of toward the bristles, and it will blend your eyeshadow very nicely. Dry the brush completely on a cloth or towel before using it to blend the shadows. Then dab your brush into the glitter and gently press it against your eyelid where you applied the mixing gel.
